WHC Ambulance Department will be hosting an EMS Education Day on February 4, 2023 from 0800 to 1700 (hour break for lunch, not included). It is FREE and open to all EMS provider levels and nurses.
- 8 CEH (T3, C2, A1, O2) provided for in person, 6 CEHs (T3, C1, O2) provided for virtual, 8 nursing contact hours
Topics covered include Trauma Assessment, 12 Lead Interpretation, Burn Treatment, Airway Management (hands-on skills learning, in-person only), Refusals and Importance of Documentation, Code Blue Scenario and Practice (hands-on skills learning, in-person only), Safe Ambulance Operation and Bleeding Cessation.
The event will take place in Tendrils Rooftop Garden at Waverly Health Center and virtually via Google Meet. The Google Meet link will be given with registration.
