Waverly Health Center offers a pulmonary rehab program for people with long-term lung conditions. Sessions are held on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s. The length of the program varies, based on your doctor’s order. To join our pulmonary rehab program, talk with your doctor. They can give you a referral to our program.
What is pulmonary rehab?
Pulmonary rehab is a program for people with long-term lung conditions such as
- long-term bronchitis
- asthma
- emphysema
- pulmonary hypertension
- bronchiectasis
- interstitial lung disease
The program contains teaching, control of medicines, exercise, breathing retraining, diet counseling and emotional support.
