Henry Jones was delivered into the world on Monday, June 24, 2019 at the Waverly Health Center. Along with older siblings Grayson, Emma, and Madelyn, parents Phil and Erin are overjoyed with Henry’s addition to their family.
Even as the couple’s fourth child, Henry’s birth brought some new experiences. Erin explained, “As an older mom, my pregnancy was closely watched. At 32 weeks, my care providers ordered weekly non-stress testing to monitor the baby in the Birthing Center. I appreciated that, when necessary, I could bring our kids with me to appointments. The nurses were very understanding and patient with our family.”
She continued, “I think it is important for expectant mothers to build good relationships with their health care professionals. I scheduled prenatal visits with each of the providers in the Women’s Clinic. I was able to ask questions and clarify my birth plan. Ultimately, I felt that my wishes were known and respected.”
The Jones family chose Waverly Health Center because they knew that the people caring for them, cared about them. Phil stated, “All of the amenities in the Birthing Center are wonderful, but we most appreciated the personal attention. The nurses listened to us and provided us with whatever we needed. Above all, they honored our preferences and worked to create an excellent experience for us.”
“We really value all that Waverly Health Center has to offer,” Erin stated. “The doctors, nurses and everyone else we met were very accommodating and kind. We felt well cared for and know we made a great choice to welcome Henry into our family at WHC.”
