Romeo and Hannah Djoumessi are no strangers to Waverly Health Center. They recently welcomed their third child and all of their children have been delivered in WHC’s Birthing Center. The Djoumessis come to WHC for all aspects of their family’s care. If their experience could be summed up into one word, Hannah stated that word would be excellence. “Every encounter we have had at the health center, every staff member, and all of our care has always been excellent,” stated Hannah.
Ezra Djoumessi made a fast entry into the world. The family arrived at WHC around 3:00 a.m. and he was born at 3:11 a.m. “Our labor and delivery nurse, Sam, was fantastic. Ezra came much quicker than any of us could have anticipated. He was delivered just a few minutes after getting to the triage room. We were amazed at Sam’s professionalism and skill, as well as how calm she remained through those moments.” Older siblings Isaiah and Clara were very excited to meet their new baby brother.
Hannah stated that they feel very thankful to have such excellent care providers in a small community like Waverly and she has really enjoyed the relationships she has formed with the staff here. She added, “It’s just such a nice small town feeling. It’s nice to know who is taking care of you.”
When asked about her favorite part of having her children at Waverly Health Center, Hannah stated, “It’s just a cozy environment that feels like home. It’s a very personalized experience and I think that has been what made it special each time.”
