The Waverly Chamber of Commerce Main Street Program held its Annual Awards Celebration on Thursday, March 26.
We are proud to share the Wartburg College Community Service Award was presented by Michael Gleason to 2026 recipient Dr. Ann Rathe. A dedicated and compassionate leader in the Waverly community, she has generously given her time and expertise to local organizations, community initiatives and volunteer efforts, making a lasting impact on countless individuals and families. Her service spans civic leadership, volunteerism, education, mentorship and philanthropy. These are all rooted in her deep commitment to community well-being.
Dr. Rathe embodies the very definition of community service, and she is most deserving of this recognition.
