Breastfeeding Classes
Choosing how to feed your child is an important decision. At this breastfeeding class, we will help expecting mothers review basic principles and learn what to expecting when breastfeeding. Significant others are encouraged to attend. This class is open to all, whether you plan to deliver at WHC or not!

Diabetes Self-Management Education
This program offers individual appointments with flexible scheduling. The goal of the program is to assist people with type 2 diabetes, to improve glucose control by learning self-management skills and risk reduction behaviors. The program includes all 10 core content areas mandated by the American Diabetes Association for a recognized program, and by the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services for a certified program.
A free 30-minute session with a certified wellness coach is included.

Life Support Classes (CPR/AED, First Aid and BLS)
Waverly Health Center offers CPR/AED, First Aid and BLS classes through a blended learning option.

Prenatal Class
This prenatal class has been designed to help expectant mothers and support persons prepare for the birth of a child, including labor and delivery.
