Pulmonary rehab sessions are tailored to your provider’s recommendation. If you think pulmonary rehab could help you, talk with your doctor about a referral.
Pulmonary rehab is designed for people living with chronic lung conditions. The program combines exercise, education and support to help improve breathing, increase endurance and reduce symptoms.
Emphysema
Pulmonary hypertension
Bronchiectasis
Interstitial lung disease
Each pulmonary rehab plan is personalized to your needs. Our program includes:
Supervised exercise tailored to your ability
Breathing techniques and energy conservation strategies
Medication education and symptom management
Nutrition and diet counseling
Support and stress management
You may be eligible for cardiopulmonary rehab if you’ve had a heart attack, heart surgery, heart failure or other cardiac condition or if you have a chronic lung disease such as COPD, asthma, or pulmonary fibrosis. Talk to your provider about whether cardiopulmonary rehab is right for you. Once we receive a referral, our staff will contact you to schedule an initial evaluation and begin building your personalized care plan.
Sessions are typically held three times per week for cardiac rehab (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) and twice per week for pulmonary rehab (Tuesday and Thursday). The frequency and length of your program may vary depending on your doctor’s recommendation and personal goals.
Each session includes guided exercise tailored to your ability, vital sign monitoring, and education on topics like nutrition, medication, stress management, and symptom control. Our trained staff provides one-on-one support in a safe, comfortable setting.
Most insurance plans including Medicare and Medicaid cover cardiac and pulmonary rehab when medically necessary. Our team can help you verify your benefits and explain any potential costs.
