    How do I become a patient?

    We care for women of all ages, starting in the teen years through menopause and beyond. Whether it’s a first wellness visit or support through life changes, we’re here for every stage. In most cases, no referral is needed. You can call our clinic directly to schedule an appointment. Some insurance plans may require a referral—check with your provider to be sure.

    Do you accept my insurance?

    Waverly Health Center accepts most major insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid. We recommend checking with your insurance provider to confirm coverage.

    What should I expect at my yearly well-woman exam?

    Your exam may include a physical checkup, Pap smear, breast exam, lab work and time to discuss birth control, mental health or any symptoms you’re experiencing.

    What birth control options do you offer?

    We offer a wide range of options, including pills, patches, IUDs, implants, injections and more. Our team can help you choose the method that best fits your lifestyle and health needs.

    Do you offer STD testing at the women's clinic?

    Yes, we offer confidential testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections (STIs), along with education and prevention counseling.

    Do you provide care during pregnancy?

    Yes! We offer prenatal visits, pregnancy monitoring, and postpartum care. We work closely with your delivery team to ensure seamless care before and after birth.     Can you help with menopause symptoms?

    Our providers offer support for hot flashes, sleep issues, mood changes and more. We can discuss lifestyle changes, natural therapies or hormone treatment based on your needs.

    Is mental health a part of women's care?

    Absolutely. We know emotional and physical health are connected. Our providers can screen for anxiety, depression, postpartum concerns, and refer you to behavioral health specialists as needed.
